Swepstone Parish Council have installed a new red phone box on Main Street, Newton Burgoland which will serve the parish as a "Library Swap Stop".
The parish were lucky enough to receive a combination of a kind donation from a parishioner, plus grant money to provide us all with the opportunity to upcycle the books we no longer read, and to treat ourselves to a new book.

Superfast Fibre Broadband—all engineering, highways and delivery issues have now been resolved and the fibre broadband cabinet has gone live on Newton Road, Swepstone. This new addition means that more homes and businesses in our parish can now access fibre broadband.
