TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER SNARESTONE ROAD, SWEPSTONE

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A road closure is required on Snarestone Road on the 16th September 2019 for three days.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to facilitate new water connections.

New bus service announcment from LCC - TIMETABLE

Further to the community engagement events which took place in June, we have been considering the comments received prior to finalising the new timetable and route for the additional school journeys.

Library Swap Stop - Coming Soon

Swepstone Parish Council have installed a new red phone box on Main Street, Newton Burgoland which will serve the parish as a "Library Swap Stop".

The parish were lucky enough to receive a combination of a kind donation from a parishioner, plus grant money to provide us all with the opportunity to upcycle the books we no longer read, and to treat ourselves to a new book.
